They were making sure that they did not need a special signoff since they were in the district. State Law allows me to sign off on maintenance items as long as they go back the way they were before. I went by your office this morning and took photos of the damage from the tree. The damage to the siding, stairs, and decking is maintenance in my opinion. I am including a draft Certificate of Compliance (COC) for you to review. If there are other maintenance items that need to be addressed on the property, we can expand the COC to cover those items also. Please let me know if there are any. Your property is in the unique situation of being in the MacArthur Park Local Ordinance District, the Capitol Zoning District, and having a Conservation Easement on the building. I am the staff person for the MacArthur Park Local Ordinance District. Boyd Maher is the contact person at the Capitol Zoning District Commission. Catherine Barrier is the interim contact person at AHPP for your Conservation Easement. Since you need all three approvals before a building permit can be issued, I recommend that you and I get squared away on what needs to be done first. Then you can contact Catherine Barrier for her signoff on the easement. Boyd Maher will need to issue you paperwork for your repair work. Then, all three documents will need to be filed by your contractor on the permit portal at the City of Little Rock to get a building permit. Thank you. If there are any questions, please contact me. Sincerely, Brian Minyard Historic District Staff cc: Boyd Maher, CZDC Catherine Barrier, AHPP
