This is part of the City's efforts to maintain the Future Land Use Plan for consistency with the likely future development patterns of the City. Enclosed is a map of some proposed changes. These changes are a result of discussions and review by city staff, to hopefully reflect a more likely future development pattern in the area based on activity and changes noted in the recent past. As a representative of this community, we would like to know your opinions about the proposed changes. And should there be additional changes? If so, where and to what and why do you feel this change should be made? Enclosed is a pamphlet about the future land use plan and a list of the Land Use categories with definitions for your information. Please contact us indicating your wishes to the address above before September 2, 2011. If no response is given, the planning staff will move forward on these changes to the Land Use Plan. The changes will be taken before the Planning Commission and later to the Board of Directors. A change to the Land Use Plan does not change the property's zoning or taxes.
