The City of Little Rock has completed the Land Use review in your area of the City and
developed a package of changes for the City Land Use Plan. A map is attached of the
City Land Use Plan with the changes, which will be presented to the Little Rock Planning
Commission at their July 21, 2005 Public Hearing.
PLEASE NOTE THIS DOES NOT CHANGE THE ZONING OF ANY LAND.
The City Land Use Plan is used when the property owner asks for a change in zoning and
is one of the things used to determine if it is appropriate to grant the request for
reclassification of the property. If no one asks to change the zoning, this Land Use Plan
change will have NO direct affect.
Attached you should find the map of proposed changes with a list of the Land Use
designations. Please take a few minutes and review these documents. If you have any
question, feel free to contact: Walter Malone at 723 West Markham, Little Rock,
Arkansas 72201. If you have comments about the proposal you wish presented to the
Little Rock Planning Commission send these to Mr. Malone at the above address.
The Planning Commission hearing will be at 4 PM on Thursday July 21, 2005 in the
