Dear Miss James:
Pursuant to our telephone conversation yesterday (October 1, 2003} 1 am, on
behalf of Mr. David Featherstone, requesting that the Planning Department defer action
on the referenced re -zoning and Land Use Plan Amendment for a period of one (1)
Planning Commission cycle (six (6) weeks) to permit Mr. Featherstone to comply with
the suggestions and recommendations contained in the Subdivision Committee Staff
Comments (]tem 16: 1). As you know, Mr. Featherstone has suffered the death of his
mother and, as a result, bas shifted his attention to the settlement of family matters and
personal bereavement.
It is my sense that we will be able to comply with staff recommendations in a
manner that will permit our petition to be heard during the next regular Planning
Commission cycle. Thank you, in advance, for.your attention to this request. Ii I may
