Monagle ; William Robinson Subject: 12th Street Corridor Meeting Announcement July 17, 2008 Dear Community Partner: I am excited to announce that we have finalized contract negotiations with Roberts & Williams Associates to begin embarking on efforts to determine how to best revitalize the 12th Street Corridor. They will begin this thirteen month long project on Monday, July 28th. I invite you to join us that evening at 6:OOpm at the Hinton Neighborhood Resource Center so that I can introduce you to the team of professionals who will be receiving your input in coming months as we put together a comprehensive plan that our community has never seen before. It is critical that you contact neighbors, friends and others that are interested in this project and ask that they attend this meeting. The consultants will explain their time frame, goals and at what times during the process they will be soliciting public input so that they can get a broad sense of what citizens would like to see the 12th Street area transform into. They have asked that meetings be set up with some key individuals in the Community on Tuesday, July 29 and Wednesday July 30. The meetings will begin at 8:30 AM and the last meeting will end at 4:00 PM each meeting lasting no more than one hour. You are on the list of people that they would like to have a one-on-one interview with. Please see the times below and let me know when would be best for you. I will begin filling the slots on a first response basis so please let me know as soon as possible. All meetings will take place at the Willie L. Hinton Neighborhood Resource Center located at 3805 West 12th Street.
