Subject: 12th Street Corridor Follow-up
Dear Community Partners:
I am enthused to inform you that while the negotiations to hire a consultant firm have been slower than I
would have liked we are now on the verge of concluding the process and getting approval from the Little
Rock City Board of Directors to move forward. At our next meeting I look forward to introducing you to
the team of professionals who will begin to receive your input as we put together a comprehensive plan
that our community has never seen before.
It is critical that at this meeting we work hard to bring as many people as we can into the process so that
we can get a broad sense of what citizens would like to see the 12th Street area transform into. In coming
weeks we will let you know when that meeting will take place so that we can get the word out. This is
