3 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE LAND USE PLAN (16,222) IN THE
4 INTERSTATE 630 DISTRICT (LU10-09-01) FROM RESIDENTIAL LOW
5 DENSITY, RESIDENTIAL MEDIUM DENSITY, OFFICE, COMMERCIAL,
6 PUBLIC INSTITUTIONAL AND MIXED USE TO OFFICE, COMMERCIAL,
7 PUBLIC INSTITUTIONAL, MIXED USE AND MIXED USE -URBAN; AND FOR
8 OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, the 12th Street Corridor Study recommends and the 12'h Street Corridor Committee
11 requests to amend the plan, and
12 WHEREAS, the Little Rock Planning Commission believes it appropriate to amend the plan.
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
14 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
15 Section 1. That Commercial and Mixed Use generally north of 12'h Street between Filmore Street and
16 Fair Park Boulevard be amended to Public Institutional.
17 Section 2. That Office and Residential Low Density at the southwest corner of 12'h Street and Fair
18 Park Boulevard be amended to Commercial.
19 Section 3. That Residential Low Density either side of 12'h Street from Tyler to Van Buren Streets be
20 amended to Office.
21 Section 4. That Commercial either side of 12'h Street from Madison to Peyton Streets be amended to
22 Mixed Use.
23 Section 5. That Residential Low Density, Residential Medium Density, Office, Commercial and
24 Mixed Use in an area general from Interstate 630 to 14'h Street and Elm Street to Oak Street be amended
25 to Mixed Use - Urban.
26 Section 6. That Mixed Use and Residential Low Density between Maple and Valentine Streets, I Ph
27 and 12'h Streets be amended to Public Institutional.
28 Section 7. That Residential Low Density either side of Johnson Street, north of 13"' Street be
29 amended to Public Institutional.
30 Section 8. That Residential Low Density and Commercial either side of Woodrow Street from
31 Interstate 630 to 13th Street be amended to Mixed Use.
32 Section 9. That the ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and afto
33 approval.
