HomeMy WebLinkAboutordinance 18373I ORDINANCE NO. 18.373 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE LAND USE PLAN (16,222) IN THE I-630 PLANNING DISTRICT FROM PUBLIC INSTITUTIONAL, MULTIFAMILY, INDUSTRIAL, SINGLE FAMILY, LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL, LIGHT INDUSTRIAL AND COMMERCIAL TO LIGHT INDUSTRIAL, COMMERCIAL, PARK OPEN SPACE, AND PUBLIC INSTITUTIONAL; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHEREAS, as the Little Rock Planning Commission believes it appropriate to amend the plan. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS. SECTION 1. That Public Institutional for an area at the northwest corner of Fair Park and Asher Avenue be amended to Commercial on the Land Use Plan. SECTION 2. That Public Institutional for an area north and west of the intersection of Fair Park and Asher Avenue be amended to Light Industrial on the Land Use Plan. SECTION 3. That Multifamily for an area north and east of the intersection of Fair Park and Asher Avenue, for an area at the northeast corner of Washington and 30th Streets, for an area at the northeast corner of Jane and 33rd Streets, and for an area at the northwest corner of Jane and 33rd Streets be amended to Commercial on the Land Use Plan. SECTION 4. That Single Family for an area at the southeast corner of Cedar and 27u' Streets be amended to Commercial on the Land Use Plan. SECTION 5. That Low Density Residential for an area at the northeast corner of Peyton and 29th Streets be amended to Office on the Land Use Plan. SECTION 6. That Low Density Residential for an area at the northwest corner of Lewis and 29th Streets be amended to Public Institutional on the Land Use Plan. SECTION 7. That Light Industrial for an area at the southeast corner of Maple Street and Roosevelt Road, for an area at the southwest corner of Mary Street and Asher Avenue, for an area at the southwest corner of 34th Street and Mabelvale Pike, and for an area west and south of the intersection of Asher Avenue and Mablevale Pike be amended to Commercial on the Land Use Plan. SECTION 8. That Industrial for an area at the southwest corner of Asher Avenue and Adams Street, for an area at the southeast corner of Asher Avenue and Mary Street, and for an area at the northeast corner of Asher Avenue and Monroe Street be amended to Commercial on the Land Use Plan. SECTION 9. That Multifamily for an area at the northwest and northeast corners of Anna and 33rd Street, for an area south of the intersection of Anna and 34th Streets, and for an area at the northwest corner of Anna and 34th Streets be amended to Light Industrial on the Land Use Plan. SECTION 10. That Commercial for an area that is east of the Village Shopping Center, south of the Coleman Dairy property and north of the City of Little Rock city limits be amended to Park Open Space. SECTION 11. . That Industrial for an area at the northeast corner of Mary Street and Asher Avenue, for an area between the abandoned rail line and 150 feet north of Asher, and between Mary Street and where the abandoned rail line crosses Asher be amended to Commercial. SECTION 12. That Multifamily for an area at the southeast corner of 33rd and Anna Streets be amended to Light Industrial. SECTION 13.
