Dear Minyard:
I am a property owner of a single family home at 3216 Lamar St. I am opposed to the change
in land use designation of the above referenced case from Single Family to Commercial. It is critical
to the viability of the Stifft Station residential area that commercial land uses are not allowed to
encroach into the residential portions of the community. The area south of 7' Street is in
need of housing rehabilitation and preservation as stated in the Woodruff Neighborhood Area Plan.
Please urge the Planning Commission to support the efforts of the Woodruff CDC and the
policies in the Woodruff Neighborhood Area Plan by denying the request to change the land
use designation at 3023 West 7th Street to Commercial.
