Staff currently requires zoning applicants to file a land use plan amendment any time the zoning change requested is in conflict with the current Future Land Use Plan. Does the city's current list of categories and amendment processes seem intuitive to you? Have you had problems in the past with interpretations of the categories or the land use amendment process? How would you make the City's Future Land Use plan more user-friendly? Staff is considering changes in definitions, new classification options, etc. Your suggestions and recommendations on changes or modifications are welcome. Please respond by April 11, 2009.
