RESOLUTION NO. 12,252
4 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
5 INTO A CONTRACT WITH SUPERIOR GENERAL
6 CONSTRUCTION /GENERAL BUILDING CORPORATION FOR THE
7 ROOF RENOVATION OF THE EAST LITTLE ROCK COMMUNITY
8 CENTER AND MAIN BUILDING OF THE NATHANIEL W. HILL
9 COMPLEX; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS, Invitation to Bid #6204 was issued for roof renovation of the East
12 Little Rock Community Center and main building of the Nathaniel W. Hill Complex,
13 and Superior General Construction /General Building Corporation submitted the most
14 responsible and responsive bid in the amount of Fifty -eight Thousand, Eight Hundred
15 Sixty -seven and 96/100 Dollars ($58,867.96);
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
17 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
18 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter
19 into a contract with Superior General Construction /General Building Corporation for
20 the roof renovation of the East Little Rock Community Center and main building of the
21 Nathaniel W. Hill Complex, in an amount not to exceed Fifty -eight Thousand, Eight
22 Hundred Sixty -seven and 96/100 Dollars ($58,867.96).
23 Section 2. Funds are available from the 2004 Bond Issue, under Acct. ELR Roof-
24 Project #316- 230 -PC28.
25 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence,
26 clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or
27 unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining

portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so
declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
resolution.
Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that
are inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent
of such inconsistency.
