HomeMy WebLinkAbout12251I RESOLUTION NO. 12,251 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO 4 EXTEND AN EXISTING ANNUAL CONTRACT WITH OSBURN 5 ASSOCIATES, INC., FOR THE PURCHASE OF REFLECTIVE SIGN 6 SHEETING MATERIALS FOR THE TRAFFIC CONTROL SECTION 7 OF PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT; FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 9 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 11,991 (May 5, 2005) authorized an annual purchase 10 order for materials needed to fabricate traffic signs for the City of Little Rock, under Bid 11 #C05012, which was awarded to Osburn Associates, Inc., and 12 WHEREAS, the contract for reflective sign sheeting for traffic 13 control /information signs does not expire until May 10, 2006, and such materials for the 14 2006 program can be purchased at the 2005 bid price. 15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF 16 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: 17 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to extend 18 the annual contract authorized by Resolution 11,991 with Osburn Associates, Inc. for the 19 purchase of additional reflective sign sheeting material in the amount of One Hundred 20 Three Thousand, Two Hundred Sixty -six and 66/100 Dollars ($103,266.66). 21 Section 2. Funds for this purpose are to be allocated from Account No. 200 -220- 22 2250 -2150. 23 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, 24 clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or 25 unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining 26 portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so [PAGE 1 OF 21 Resolution To authorize extension of the contract for reflective sign sheeting material for Traffic Control 1 declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the 2 resolution. 3 Section 4. Repealer.
