SUBJECT: UDPATES OF THE LAND USE PLAN IN WARD 1 & WARD 3

As part of the Planning and Development Department's efforts to maintain the
City of Little Rock Future Land Use Plan, reviews are to be conducted by larger
sections of the City. The effort began in 2010 with the review of the areas east of
Interstate 30. This review of the Land Use Plan is moving from the east to the
west across the City. In 2011, the Planning and Development Department
intends to begin the review of areas within both Ward 1 and Ward 3, with the first
area being the remaining portions of Ward 1.
Staff will contact the neighborhood associations within each area as part of the
review process and will provide you with status updates as a package of potential
changes are created for public hearing before the Planning Commission.
