Dear Ozlem,
Thank you for reaching out to me. Regarding our plans for the areas surrounding the University Village residences I can
tell you that we are currently exploring citing options if we were to add additional student housing. There are several
site options, and it is fair to say we have not ruled out any including the areas south of Asher Avenue. The land south of
the existing soccer field is currently the site for a new baseball stadium which would include the additional property
donated by the Coleman family. The vacant parcel on the west side of the apartments would most likely be intramural
sports fields.

Dear Dr Millay,
My name is Ozlem Polat and I am working for City of Little Rock, Planning Department. We are reviewing our Land Use
Plan and the area of the University Village Apartments on Asher Avenue, Coleman Sports & Recreation Complex area
and the 8 acres land recently donated to UALR campus by Coleman family also within our plan review boundaries.
Therefore we would like to have an idea about your current or future plans for the University Village Apartments within
the parcel of Board of Trustees of the University of Arkansas and the newly donated parcels by Coleman family in order
to consider and imply our plan suggestions on our city's Land Use Plan map. There is a vacant parcel on the west (left)
side of these apartments on Asher Avenue and there is a parking lot on south of these apartments within the same
parcel with the apartments. We would like to ask:
1- if you have any plans as expanding these apartments towards the vacant parcel at the west (left) side of these
apartments or towards current parking lot or as keeping the current University Village Apartments plan like the
way it is?
2- What is your plan for the recently donated Coleman lands?
We would like to improve our plan suggestions for that area regarding to your reply or keep it as the current use on our
city's future land use plan. I have enclosed the map of the area mentioned above and I hope it will help you for the idea
of locations of our questions.
