We own a small telecommunications company in Little Rock wid have bccn in search of an office location to house our company. The property includes a house and approximately 4.5 acres. Our plan, if we can get the land use on this property changed, is to use the house as our office. As stated above we are a telecommunications company and provide a wide range of tciccurnrnunications needs which includes service and installation of telephone systems, data cabling, and secunity systems both residential and commercial. We currently have five employees and our business hours are 5:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday threlugh Friday_ What we would be doing at the house/office is basically answering customer phone calls, bookkeeping, figuring jobs, typing proposals, and dispatching employees to servioe locations. We have three service vehicles that will be parked there and the employees usually leave the office at 8:30 a.m. to go out in the field_ We have virtually no "walk-in" customers and all of our service and repairs are done at the customer job site. As some point, we plan on building a small garage/warehouse type building in the back of the house in which to secure the vehicles and store some equipment. Equipment that would need to be stored would be small boxes of cable, phone equipment, etc. We have spoken face to face with every resident on Marigold street and gotten approval letters from almost all of them. We have also gotten approval letters from the Green Memorial Baptist Church and the John Barrow Neighborhood Association.
