Kenneth this letter is in response to the Courtesy Notice which you left at 6400
Stagecoach Rd. I think you will find upon investigation that this property has a non
conforming status. It was originally built as a Cafe in the 1930's. I have had and
operated multiple businesses out of this property in addition to it being rental property for
myself as well as others. When you finish your research I am sure you'll find that I am
correct. The Zoning of this property is R-2NC. If I have any of the original permits that
have been issued over the years I would be more than happy to photocopy the zoning
from them and you will see that they (permit people) have had to go and pull the non
conforming cards many times, in fact it was just done probably three or four months ago
when we had the City of Little Rocks Dept. of Road Engineering out at the property do
determine the new visibility restriction that came into effect when the chain link fence was
removed for the sewer project and we wanted to re -install a wood fence instead of going
back with the chain link fence.
Please get back in touch with me as soon as possible in this matter. Your help in
resolving this confusion is greatly appreciated.

Dear Mr. Kurtz:
This office has received information from the Department of Neighborhoods and
Planning that you are in violation of Little Rock, Ark., Rev. Code § 36-254(b)(1) by
operating a business from property zoned R-2 Single Family District..
It is my understanding that this has been a continuing violation since January 12,
1998, and that you have been properly notified of this violation.
You are hereby advised that if you have not corrected this violation within fifteen (15)
days of the receipt of this letter, our office will have no choice but to take additional legal
action. Your prompt attention to -"this matter is essential.
