SUBJECT: LAND USE REVIEWS
DATE: FEBRUARY 8, 2006
Enclosed are three maps for your review. Map one is Proposed Land Use Plan
Amendment. This is related to the Upper Baseline Neighborhood Plan. Please review the
proposed changes; we will discuss them at the next meeting. The intent is to make the
Plan more consistent with the existing and likely further land use and zoning of the area.
The other two maps are a zoning and future land use of the Kanis Corridor from Chenal
to Stewart. The Staff and Commission have been charged by the Board of Directors to
review this area and make proposals to address the development of the corridor, assuring
compatible development with out the negative characteristics of `strip development'.
