3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH MCLARTY FORD, FOR A TOTAL
5 PURCHASE PRICE OF SIXTY-ONE THOUSAND, EIGHT HUNDRED
6 EIGHTY AND 92/100 DOLLARS ($61,880.92), FOR THE PURCHASE OF
7 TWO (2) FORD TRANSIT VANS FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS
8 DEPARTMENT BUILDING SERVICES DIVISION; AND FOR OTHER
9 PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS,the Public Works Department Building Services Division has a need to purchase two(2)
12 Ford Transit Vans, with up-fits,to replace natural gas units that are no longer in use by the City; and,
13 WHEREAS,vendor selection was made available through the 2020 State Vehicle Contract Item No.
14 32; and,
15 WHEREAS,the total cost of the purchase is Sixty-One Thousand, Eight Hundred Eighty and 92/100
16 Dollars($61,880.92).
17 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
18 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
19 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with McLarty Ford for the purchase
20 of two(2)Ford Transit Vans,with up-fits,for an amount not to exceed Sixty-One Thousand,Eight Hundred
21 Eighty and 92/100 Dollars($61,880.92).
22 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in the Fleet Special Projects 3/8-Cent Sales Tax
23 Account No. 326609-72300-TS60007.
24 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
25 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
26 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
27 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
28 resolution.
29 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
30 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
