Dear Mayor Mark Stodola,
I would like to compliment the City of Little Rock for the courteous and professional
manner in which Purvis Industries' rezoning request was handled and administered by
several departments for the City of Little Rock. As you may be aware, our I-30
property -rezoning request was approved and signed off on August 6th, 2007. This
being our first rezoning request from any city, the staff and commissioners of the
Department of Planning and Development were very helpful with their advice and
instructions. Throughout the rezoning process there were several individuals that
played key roles and were extremely helpful in each step of the process. Please allow
me to name these key players. From our initial meeting with Pam Adcock and Troy
Laha we were given a sense of what the Cloverdale neighborhood would like to see.
Their recommendations and guidance were pivotal in setting the stage to design and
draw our site plan for the Department of Planning and Development. Also I must
applaud several members within the planning and rezoning staff. Donna James, Dana
Carney, Brian Minyard, Monty Moore and in Public Works, Bill Henry were very
knowledgeable and assisted our process and efforts all along the way. Without their
intimate understanding of the process and of our need for vital, creditable information,
the rezoning process would have been insurmountable for our company. With a
"Special Thank You" I would like to recognize each one of these individuals for their
special efforts that went well beyond their normal assignments.
From everyone at our future Little Rock location and me, please accept our respectful
salute to everyone in the Department of Planning and Development for a job well done.
Respectfully,
( ?d glt-
