I spoke with Mr. Coburn after you called me this morning. He does not wish
to pursue his rezoning of the property at the Board level. He said that he
is not conducting sandblasting operations at the Sibley Hole Road property
at this time.
He still believes that he has a right to continue the operation as a
legitimate nonconforming use without the necessity to rezone the property.
Nevertheless, he is currently investigating the feasibility and cost to
construct a building large enough to accomodate the sandblasting inside so
that he can conform with the existing I-2 zoning and not suffer a total loss
of his investment in the property.
Thanks for your assistance in this matter and feel free to call me if you
need additional information.
