3 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 30 OF THE CODE OF
4 ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS,
5 PROVIDING FOR A DEFERRAL OF MASTER STREET PLAN
6 CONSTRUCTION REQUIREMENTS FOR KANIS ROAD; AND FOR
7 OTHER PURPOSES.
9 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
10 LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
11 Section 1. That Chapter 30 of the Code of Ordinances is hereby amended to
12 provide for a five -year deferral of certain requirements within the Master Street Plan for
13 St. Andrews Church at 8300 Kanis Road.
14 Subsection a. Chapter 30 Article VI requiring developers to construct roadway
15 improvements to the requirements of the Master Street Plan will be deferred for a
16 period of five years, or construction of phase 2, or until adjacent development, or
17 development across Kanis Road occurs. The specific deferral is for improving
18 Kanis Road west of the proposed driveway to the property boundary to minor
19 arterial standards including widening, curb, gutter, sidewalk and access ramps.
20 Subsection b. A dedication of right -of -way 45 feet from centerline; installation
21 of sidewalk, access ramps, curb, gutter, and widening east of the proposed
22 driveway to the property boundary will be required for Kanis Road with
23 construction plans approval. Also with construction plan approval, clearing and
24 grading will occur to provide at least 445 feet of intersection site distance for left -
25 turn maneuvers and 385 feet for right turn maneuvers. A signed statement will
26 be provided certifying required site distance has been provided.

I Section 2. This ORDINANCE shall take effect thirty (30) days from and after its
2 passage.
