Dear Madam or Sir:
You should have received two letters previously about proposed changes to the City Land
Use Plan in the area for your Property in southwest Little Rock. The Department of
Planning and Development has been reviewing the City's Future Land Use Plan in the
area south of Interstate 30, from the County Line to Interstate 530. This is part of the
City's efforts to maintain the Future Land Use Plan for consistency with the likely future
development patterns. Proposed changes are a result of discussions and review by city
staff, to hopefully reflect a more likely future development pattern in the area - based on
activity and changes noted in the recent past.
A public meeting has been scheduled for 6 P.M. Thursday, June 6, 2013 at the Southwest
Community Center, 6401 Baseline Road. This meeting has been arranged to provide you
the opportunity to meet with Staff to discuss the proposed changes prior to any action by
the Little Rock Board of Directors.
Please note that such a change in the Future Land Use Plan does not change the zoning
taxes or currently allowable uses for your property. If you have any question about the
