Mablevale, AR 72103
Dear Sir or Madam:
Based on the records of the Pulaski County Assessor's Office, you own property that is
within an area under consideration for a change (9921 Mann Road) to the City's Future
Land Use Plan.
The Department of Planning and Development has been reviewing the City's Future
Land Use Plan in the areas south of Interstate 30 and west of Interstate 530. This is part
of the City's efforts to maintain the Future Land Use Plan for consistency with the likely
future development patterns. Proposed changes are a result of discussions and review by
city staff, to hopefully reflect a more likely future development pattern in the area, based
on activity and changes noted in the recent past.
In your area the proposed change is from Industrial to Light Industrial. Enclosed is a
map showing the area of change and a list of the Land Use categories with definitions for
your information. Please note that such a change in the Future Land Use Plan does not
change the zoning (1-2, Light Industrial) taxes or currently allowable uses for your
property.
Please contact us with any comments to the proposed changes before Friday January 18,
2013. If no response is received, the planning staff will move forward on these changes
to the Land Use Plan. The changes will be taken before the Planning Commission and
later to the Board of Directors. Please direct any comments or questions to Walter
Malone at 371-6819 or wmalone@littlerock.org .
Thank you for your time and consideration of this matter.
Sincerely,
Walter Malone, AICP

Industrial - I

development typically occurs on an individual tract basis rather than according to an overall
development plan.
Change To:
Light Industrial - LI
This category provides for light warehouse, distribution or storage uses, and/or other industrial
uses that are developed in a well-designed "park like" setting.
