ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE LAND USE PLAN (16,222) IN THE
iAREA SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 30 FROM INTERSTATE 530 TO THE
5 ALEXANDER ROAD; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

7 WHEREAS, the future Land Use Plan should be review periodically to maintain its accuracy and
8 usefulness; and,
9 WHEREAS, City Staff has reviewed the area in question provided, considering the existing use and
10 zoning patterns as well as trends in development in the area; and,
1 1 WHEREAS, the Little Rock Planning Commission has reviewed the package of suggested changes
12 and now recommends them for adoption;
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
14 CITY OF LITTLE ROCK.
15 Section 1. To the north of the Town of Alexander, east of Alexander Road, the Land Use Plan is
16 changed from Mixed Commercial Industrial to Industrial. (LU 13-01-02).
17 Section 2. Two (2) areas: one is on the east side of Vimy Ridge Road, south of Alexander Road,
18 the Land Use Plan is changed from Residential Low Density to Public Institutional; and the second is on
19 the south side of Alexander Road, east of Vimy Ridge Road, the Land Use Plan is changed from Light
20 Industrial to Public Institutional. (LU 13-01-03).
21 Section 3. An area east of the South Loop between the railroad tracks and Mabelvale West Road,
22 the Land Use Plan is changed from Mixed Commercial Industrial to Mixed Use. (LU13-01-04).
23 Section 4. An area northwest of Nash and Mabelvale West Roads, the Land Use Plan is changed
24 from Residential Low Density and Mixed Use to Public Institutional. (LU13-01-05).
25 Section S. The area along Angel Court north of Mabelvale West, the Land Use Plan is changed
26 from Office and Mixed Use to Residential Low Density. (LU13-01-06).
27 Section 6. An area south and east of Mann Road, near Dartmoor Drive, the Land Use Plan is
28 changed from Industrial to Light Industrial. (LU 13-01-07).
29 Section 7. An area at the northwest corner of Dartmoor Drive and Mann Road, the Land Use Plan is
30 changed from Commercial to Light Industrial. (1,U13-01-08).
31 Section 8. Either side of Mabelvale Cutoff Road from Hienke Road to Legion Hut, the Land Use
32 Plan is changed from Mixed Use to Residential Low Density. (LU13-01-09).
33 Section 9. Two (2) areas along the south side of Interstate 30, either side of Production Drive, the
34 Land Use Plan is changed from Light Industrial to Commercial. (LU 13-01-10).

8 Use Plan is changed from Residential Low Density to Public Institutional. (LU13-01-14).
9 Section 14. Two (2) areas: both along the west side of Geyer Springs Road, one north of Valley
10 Drive, the Land Use Plan is changed from Office to Public Institutional and one south of Valley Drive,
11 the Land Use Plan is changed from Residential Low Density to Public Institutional. (LU13-01-15).
12 Section 15. The area along the east side of Arch Street Pike from the City Limits to north of Keo
13 Drive, the Land Use Plan is changed from Mixed Commercial Industrial and Residential Low Density to
14 Service Trades District. (LU 13-01-16).
15 Section 16. The areas either side of Dixon Road, west of Interstate 530, the Land Use Plan is
16 changed from Mixed Commercial Industrial to Light Industrial. (LU 13-01-17).
17 Section 17. The areas either side of Dixon Road from John Calvin Drive to west of Ironton Road,
18 the Land Use is changed from Mixed Commercial Industrial and Mining to Mixed Use. (LU 13-01-18).
19 Section 18. Two 2Qareas: One on either side of Arch Street Pike from Vinson Road to Pratt Road,
20 the Lane Use Plan is changed from Mixed Commercial Industrial and Commercial to Mixed Use; and the
21 second area is at the Pratt Road — Arch Street Pike intersection, the Land Use Plan is changed from
22 Residential Low Density to Commercial. (LU 13-01-19).
23 Section 19. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
24 word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstihitional, such declaration or
25 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the ordinance which shall remain in frill force and
26 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
27 ordinance.
28 Section 20, Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same that are inconsistent
29 with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsist9licy.
