3 AN ORDINANCE TO ABANDON AN ALLEY RIGHT -OF -WAY
4 LOCATED NEAR 2901 SOUTH MAIN STREET, IN THE CITY OF
5 LITTLE ROCK, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

7 WHEREAS, a request was made to abandon an alley right -of -way located near
8 2901 South Main Street, in the City of Little Rock, pursuant to the City's general police
9 power authority under Ark. Code Ann. § 14 -54 -104;
10 WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the abandoning of this alley right -of-
11 way will not have an adverse impact on the adjacent property owners nor the local
12 traffic, and therefore, the right -of -way abandoned by this ordinance is no longer needed
13 for corporate purposes.
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
15 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby releases, vacates, and abandons the
17 alley right -of -way located adjacent to Lots 1 -6, Block 3, Tuxedo Park Addition, and Lots
18 1 -3, Block 1, South Main Street Addition, including all utility and drainage easements,
19 together with the right of public in general, in the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County,
20 Arkansas.
21 Section 2. A copy of this ordinance duly certified by the City Clerk, shall be filed
22 in the real estate records of the recorder of the Circuit Clerk in ex officio recorder of
23 Pulaski County, Arkansas.
24 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item,
25 sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid
26 or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining
27 portions of the ordinance which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so

declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
ordinance.
Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same
that are inconsistent with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed to the
extent of such inconsistency.
