3 A RESOLUTION TO SET OCTOBER 6, 2020, AS THE DATE FOR A
4 PUBLIC HEARING TO FORM AND LAY OFF LITTLE ROCK
5 MUNICIPAL PROPERTY OWNERS' MULTIPURPOSE IMPROVEMENT
6 DISTRICT NO. 2020-003 (LAMARCHE VILLAGE PROJECT); AND FOR
7 OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS,the City Clerk has been provided a petition executed by the owners of a majority in value
10 of the relevant property to form and lay off a Municipal Property Owners' Multipurpose Improvement
11 District(LaMarche Village Project);and,
12 WHEREAS,before such action can be taken it is necessary to have a public hearing before the Little
13 Rock Board of Directors.
14 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. A public hearing will be held by the Board of Directors at its meeting that will start at 6:00
17 PM on the 15th day of September 2020, at the Robinson Center, William Grant Still Ballroom, 426 West
18 Markham Street, Little Rock,Arkansas,regarding the question of whether to form and lay off Little Rock
19 Municipal Property Owners'Multipurpose Improvement District No.2020-003(LaMarche Village Project)
20 and the property more completely described as follows:
21 PART OF THE SW1/4 OF THE NE1/4 OF SECTION 24, TOWNSHIP 2 NORTH,
22 RANGE 14 WEST IN PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS, MORE PARTICULARLY
23 DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS, TO-WIT: COMMENCING AT THE NORTHWEST
24 CORNER OF THE SAID SW1/4 NEI/4 OF SAID SECTION 24; THENCE SOUTH 1
25 DEGREE 24 MINUTES WEST 336.0 FEET TO A POINT IN THE WEST LINE OF SAID
26 SW1/4 NE1/4 AND THE SOUTH RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF TAYLOR ROAD, AND
27 THE POINT OF BEGINNING; THENCE SOUTH 64 DEGREES 36 MINUTES EAST
28 337.6 FEET ALONG THE SOUTH RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF SAID TAYLOR ROAD;
29 THENCE SOUTH 17 DEGREES 20 MINUTES WEST 399.5 FEET TO A POINT;
30 THENCE NORTH 82 DEGREES 14 MINUTES WEST 200 FEET TO THE WEST
31 BOUNDARY LINE OF SAID SW1/4 NE1/4; THENCE NORTH 1 DEGREE 24
32 MINUTES EAST 500 FEET TO THE PONT OF BEGINNING.
33 Section 2. Notice of the date and time of this public hearing shall be published in accordance with
34 Arkansas State Law.

2 view the documents on file with the City Clerk,2"d Floor,City Hall,500 West Markham Street,Little Rock,

5 Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
6 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
7 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
8 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
9 resolution.
10 Section 5. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
11 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
