3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH RIVER CITY HYDRAULICS, INC., IN AN
5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE HUNDRED SIXTY-FIVE THOUSAND,
6 FIVE HUNDRED THIRTY-FOUR AND 29/100 DOLLARS ($165,534.29);
7 FOR THE PURCHASE OF A POWERTRAK 1000 THIRTEEN (13)-YARD
8 REAR LOADER FOR THE PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT;
9 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS,the Parks & Recreation Department has a need to purchase a Powertrak 1000 Thirteen
12 (13)-Yard Rear Loader to replace a unit that was deemed totaled by the Arkansas Municipal League after
13 being involved in an accident;and,
14 WHEREAS,Vendor selection was made through the utilization of the Sourcewell HEIL Contract No.
15 112014-THC; and,
16 WHEREAS, the total cost for the purchase is One Hundred Sixty-Five Thousand, Five Hundred
17 Thirty-Four and 29/100 Dollars($165,534.29).
18 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
19 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
20 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with River City Hydraulics, Inc.,
21 in an amount not to exceed One Hundred Sixty-Five Thousand, Five Hundred Thirty-Four and 29/100
22 Dollars($165,534.29),for the purchase of a Powertrak 1000 Thirteen(13)-Yard Rear Loader to be used by
23 the Parks&Recreation Department.
24 Section 2. Funds for this agreement are available in Fleet Special Projects 3/8-Cent Sales Tax Account
25 No. 326609-72300-TS60007.
26 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
27 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
28 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
29 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
30 resolution.
31 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
32 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
