As President of Southwest Little Rock United for Progress, I represent the
membership on the following:
We oppose the Land Use Amendment at 12705 ,Alexander Road fiom Mixed
Office and Commercial to Mixed Commercial and Industrial. While the
present business has existed well with the residential neighborhood as it has
grown over the years, the permanent land use of Mixed Commercial and
Industrial is inappropriate in this primarily residential area.
This business has been a quiet business over the years, and we support
their proposed expansion. We join the Alexander Road Neighborhood
Association in, wanting a clear description on the landscaping proposed as
part of the expansion. The landscaping and screening should meet or exceed
city standards.
