RESOLUTION NO. 12,207
3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH G.A.G. BUILDERS, INC. FOR
5 CONSTRUCTION OF AN ANIMAL SERVICES SHELTER; AND FOR
6 OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, the 2004 Capital Improvement Bond issue approved by the voters of
9 the City of Little Rock provided funds for improvements to ihe Little Rock Animal
10 Services Facility including, but not limited to, construction of a new shelter, and
11 WHEREAS, Invitation to Bid No. 5342R was issued for construction of a new
12 Animal Services Shelter, and G.A.G. Builders, Inc. submitted the most responsive and
13 responsible bid in an amount not to exceed One Million, Three Hundred Forty-Six
14 Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($1,346,000.00);
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
16 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
17 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter
18 into a contract with G.A.G. Builders, Inc., in an amount not to exceed One Million,
19 Three Hundred Forty-Six Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($1,346,000.00).
20 Section 2. Funds for this project are to be allocated from the $70,635,000 Limited
21 Obligation Capital Improvement Bond Issue (Series 2004) and tne 2004 Issuance and
22 Reserve Fund.
23 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence,
24 clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or
25 unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining
26 portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so

1 declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
2 resolution.
3 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that
4 are inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent
5 of such inconsistency.
