Walter,
Thanks for taking time to explain to me the city's reason for the requested Land Use Plan on my development "The
Pointe at Brodie Creek" I understand why the city would like to do the change. As I explained to you we are closing on a
large tract of land in front of our current development next week and will be asking for a mixed use approval from the
city in the next 60 days on that development. We are concerned that a change of land use to a higher density on our
existing property might negatively influence the neighborhood around both developments. We are planning on having
in the request both multifamily and commercial aspects of our master plan.
For this reason I am requesting that the Land Use change on "The Pointe of Brodie Creek" be pulled from the
request. Once we have approval on our new development plan we would be more than willing to support the proposed
change requested by the city. Its strictly just a timing issue for us. If you have any questions please feel free to call
anytime. Can you also confirm you received this email.

I am writing to request that the Land Use change on The Point of Brodie Creek be put on hold at this time. We do
support the change but would like to see the development next to our church proceed prior to changing any zoning that
will bring alarm to neighbors. I do feel that the development that Keith Richardson is pursuing will be a great benefit to
our church and this area of the city.

Subject: Opposition to Proposed Change- LU13-02-10C
Good morning Walter,
We would like to voice our opposition to proposed change LU- 13-02-1OC from residential low density to
residential medium density. We ask that the city please leave that section of land as low density to fit with the
surrounding neighborhoods. With all of the new added infrastructure in the area, traffic is already becoming a
problem and adding residential medium density will make it even worse.
The majority of home owners in the Kanis Creek POA feel the same way and we intend to be present at the Dec
12 publich hearing to voice our opinion.
