NEIGHBORHOOD COMMENTS:
Notices were sent to the following neighborhood associations: Crystal Valley
Property Owners Association, Plantation House Homeowners Association, and
Otter Creek Homeowners Association. Staff has received one comment from
area residents. The comment was neutral in nature and had concerns about
some types of uses that could be located in the commercial area.
STAFF RECOMMENDATIONS:
Staff believes the change is not appropriate because it encroaches on an
established Single Family area. Staff would be supportive of the application if a
larger Open Space area separated the Commercial from the Single Family area.
PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION: (NOVEMBER 10, 2005)
The applicant requested the item be withdrawn prior to the meeting. The
Commission placed this item on the consent agenda for withdrawal. By a vote
of 9 for, 0 against, and 2 absent the consent agenda was approved.
