Bryan: My comments on the 3 Plans Committee items:
LU04-01-07 T and SO to MX Too intense uses for Transition. The
Highway 10 Overlay supplements the existing plan,
not replace it. C at commercial nodes, with step down to office, multi
family still makes sense on Highway 10. The world will survive without
one more fast food restaurant
LU04-17-02 17415 Lawson Rd. I'm dubious about this because
there is no intersection, or existing intense commercial at this location. By
supporting this would the City be creating problems for the area in 10 years?
LU04-19-01 Centrell Rd and Goodson. Validating existing uses
at this location is a step in the right direction. I'm not sure it is wise to leave the
C category wide open. Would not PCD be better here, given the many different uses already on
site. Sounds like he would have C-4 based on existing uses --- is
that a valid classification, given it is SF and PK/OS all around.
Sorry I won't be there...... have gone to be a volunteer on an Orchestra Guild project.
