RE: Fashion Park Cleaners
Dear Molly,
We appreciate your consideration in helping us bring Fashion Park
Cleaners back on line as soon as possible. I know Brooksher Banks is
anxious to rebuild and, as he said, be a good neighbor. All of the
people we have talked to are excited about the project.
A. The purpose and intent of the project is to rebuild the portion of
the building that burned and to rehabilitate the remaining portion.
We intend to retain the look that existed before the fire.
B. We expect the construction to begin_ in June, 1988, and to be
completed in September, 1988.
C. Since we will be retaining the "look" and scale of the original
building, we do not see any change in the relationship of the site
improvements to adjacent buildings.
D. There should be no impact on the neighborhood since we will be
building within the same footprint.
We have submitted site plan,, elevations and building section on the
attached drawing. The elevations depict the materials to be used and
the architectural detailing.
For the lower portion of the building, we would like to use brick if it
comes in our budget. If not, we will use dri-vit throughout.
