Thank you for your inquiry. I have checked with the experts at the state and they do not recommend either of these
products. The proper way to repair your chimney and make it water tight is to repoint the mortar with a type "O" or "K'
mortar that is available locally.
I can sign off on the copper chimney caps and repointing with "O" or "K' mortar.
