The city appears willing to accept the following substitutions pending the deliver of a revised plan and acceptance of a tree maintenance plan. Jay has agreed to do this. 2 trees in front of school along 9th street to be Shumard Oaks placed 3' off of sidewalk. 2 trees in front of church on 9th street to be Crape Myrtles placed 3' off of sidewalk and maintained per letter of agreement (will be provided by city) The above trees were outlined in the conditional use permit and are an absolute requirement. The 2 trees in front of the new school can be Maple The tree on the Corner of 8th and Ferry can be a Crape Myrtle We would also voluntarily maintain the remaining Crape Myrtles along the streets as 1-3 trunk trees allowing them to grow to height. We would also plan to move some of the mature Crape Myrtles in front of the office to fill-in on Sherman Street next winter.
