Jay,
I spoke with Christy this morning. She needs something in writing to her that states you want to change trees at certain
locations from this species to that. She says that if the HDC staff (me) signs off on it, she will also sign off on it. Below, is
the list of trees from the city ordinance. Please pick one of the trees from the following list. I would suggest something
from the medium deciduous or medium evergreen list. I will not sign off on crape myrtles because of the pruning practices
that prohibit them from becoming full tree height.
Please talk with the church officials and all other concerned and let me know your choice. We are not at work on Monday
the 19th (Presidents Day).

(a) Recommended list. The following list of trees represents those which have been found to be best suited to
this area and require the least amount of maintenance. The following list of trees is recommended for planting
in the required landscaped area.
