Thank you for reviewing a draft of our submission for the St. Edward's
project. This tetter is intended as a cover explanation for the three-part
submission.
Part 1: Application for the Conditional Use Permit. ''his was submitted
to you by Thomas Engineering Company with a cover letter
dated October 12, 21005, John Pownall, PIE. signed that letter.
Part 2: Application to the Historic District Commission for a Certificate of
Appropriateness for a neva ouilding at 815 Sherman Street.
Part 3: Application to the Historic District Commission for a Certificate of
Appropriateness for a ground -mounted sign at the southwest
corner of the church "uilding.
Certified Mailing: Also enclosed are our notices of Public Hearing for the
CUP and the two Historic District Commission Hearings. We have
enclosed our cover letter to surrounding property owners and a general
description of the project for their benefit.
We are also mailing today the ce tified letters to the eleven property
owners within 200' as required for the CUP process, We realize that
this is a longer radius than the 150' requirement for the Historic District.
