Dear Mr. Minyard:
This will reference your letter dated June 13, 2005 concerning the
proposal to change the Land Use Category for our property at Kanis and
Asbury. I purchased the property in 1962, and my wife and I have lived
here since 1967. We have witnessed a great deal of growth transition
since that time. The increased traffic makes it difficult to walk across
the street to retrieve the mail and the newspaper. We do understand,
however, that future development will continue to occur.
We are not pleased with the density of the proposed "low density
housing" in the proposal submitted for the adjacent properties to the east
of our land. We are particularly not pleased with the the intent to
change our land use eategTory to Low Density Residential. We prefer to
maintain the Suburban Office and Single Family category. My wife and
I plan to continue to live here for many more years, and we have no
immediate plans to develop the property.
This letter will serve to notify you of our desires for Land Use as
requested in your letter of June 13, 2005.
