I know this will take several meetings to get all worked out. The 521 Rock sign is shaped similar to our next door neighbor – Madden Law Firm; all sign shapes are from the Guidelines book. The Guidelines book on page 78 states that signs should be carved wood, brass, copper or bronze letters. Do you think brushed aluminum stands any chance of making it through the process? We saw that on the Central Arkansas Library building at 6th and Bond and really liked that. Page 76 does mention that “historic commercial buildings commonly used metals … less frequently nickel alloys, stainless steel and aluminum were used” so I hope this will allow us to have the stainless and brushed aluminum. Also – we are looking at possibly putting in security cameras on a few of our buildings next year – are there guidelines for these; I see security lights but not security cameras. Page 78 basically reads keep it as concealed as much as possible. Thank you for your help. __________________ CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE_____________________ This email and any files or attachments transmitted with it, in which or in part, are confidential and intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to whom they are addressed.
