Emerson, and he has given me permission to write to you directly. You were sent a notice by the Department of Planning and Development that your property was under possible consideration for a change in designation under the City's Land Use Plan. While your property is currently zoned R-2 single family residential, it is designated as MOC-mixed office commercial under the current Land Use Plan. While a Land Use Plan amendment, changing your property to office (in part) and commercial (in part) was under consideration at the time we sent you the notice, at this time your property is no longer in the area that is being considered for a Land Use Plan amendment. A staff member from the Department of Planning and Development will be contacting you this afternoon with this information.
