As per our conversation yesterday, I have enclosed information about the exterior
modification that we want to do on our newly acquired property at 409 E 6th. The
modification consists of the replacement of a boarded over door with a window that matches
another window on the same side of the structure.
Pictures of the building and the location of the modification are labeled on the attachments.
Much of the exterior siding is bare because it is being scraped and prepared for painting. On
examining the door further, the lines in the siding seem to suggest that there was originally a
window in this location, and it was later converted into a door. We propose to restore it back
to a window which matches the window next to it.
Please provide us with a letter of approval for this modification. We would appreciate your
prompt attention so that we can proceed with the work. Call me on 374-2600 if you have any
