Dear Mr. Gordon:
The City of Little Rock has been conducting a review of the Land Use Plan along Kanis
Road from Chenal Parkway to Denny Road. A package of Land Use Plan amendments
have been developed, see attached map. After a review of the ownership records at the
County Court House, we believe at least a portion of your ownership may be included in
one of the proposed change areas. Take a few moments and review the map illustrating
the possible changes. We would like to hear any comments you might have prior to
conducting a public hearing before the Planning Commission on actually making any
changes.
Please note this would NOT change the zoning of your property. Whatever the current
zoning classification of your property currently it would still have that classification with
or without this possible change. The affect on you of the change would be if you wished
to request a zoning change. As part of the review on your requested zoning change, the
Land Use Plan designation would be used to help determined where to recommend
approval or denial of the requested change.
