This rezoning request is being made because the 5 owners (2 of which live on the property) wish to change the zoning of their property from residential use to commercial use. The property they own fronts on Highway 10 and most of the property east of them and across from them is now zoned commercial, office and multi -family. This is simply a request to rezone this property, so as to get the appropriate Land Use established for such time as development is ready to take place.
