81 WHEREAS, the Little Rock Planning Commission believes it appropriate to amend the plan.
9! NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
101 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
11 Section 1. That the intersection of Roosevelt Road and Confederate Boulevard is amended from
121 Commercial to Mixed Use to protect surrounding school and residences from potential redevelopment.

13' Section 2. That area one (1) -block east of Geyer Street Road, between East 14th and East 17'h Streets,
141 is amended from Residential Medium Density to Industrial to reflect existing uses.
15 Section 3. That area'proposed for the East 91h Street expansion east of Bond Street is amended from
16! Park/Open Space to Industrial and Residential Medium Density to reflect the addition of the new roadway
17; Section 4. That the blocks bounded by Apperson Street, East 81h Street, Harrington Avenue and East
18' 111h Street and the blocks bounded by Corning Avenue, East 6`h Street, Carson Street and East 10`h Street
19; is amended from Residential Low Density, Residential Medium Density and Residential High Density to
20: Light Industrial to reflect the properties purchased by the Little Rock Airport.

21 Section 5. The northeast corner of Fourche Dam Pike and Lindsey Road is amended from Industrial
22 to Commercial to reflect current and Likely future uses.

Section 6. The area of approximately 1,860 acres located cast of Fourche Creek, south of Sloane
Drive and west of Thibault Road is amended from Agricultural to Industrial to reflect the Little Rock Port
Authority's future plans for expansion.
Section 7. That the ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage and
approval.
