AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE LAND USE PLAN (16,222) IN
THE PINNACLE, BARRETT, CHENAL, AND RIVER MOUNTAIN
PLANNING DISTRICT FROM PUBLIC INSTITUTIONAL,
PARK/OPEN SPACE, SINGLE FAMILY, NEIGHBORHOOD
COMMERCIAL, MIXED OFFICE COMMERCIAL, AND
TRANSITION TO PUBLIC INSTITUTIONAL, SINGLE FAMILY,
LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL, SUBURBAN OFFICE, OFFICE,
MIXED OFFICE COMMERCIAL, AND COMMERCIAL; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, as the Little Rock Planning Commission believes it appropriate to
amend the plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. That Single Family at the northwest corner of Highways 10 and
300 and southeast of Sturgis Pond be amended to Suburban Office.
SECTION 2. That a portion of the northwest corner of the Public Institutional
located on the south side of Highway 10 and west of Highway 300 in the eastern quarter
of Township 2 North, Range 14 West Section 16 be amended to Low Density
Residential.
SECTION 3. That a portion of the southern half of the Public Institutional in
the eastern quarter of Township 2 North, Range 14 West Section 16, generally located
south of the Highway 10 and Highway 300 intersection be amended to Single Family.
SECTION 4. That the remaining Public Institutional in the eastern quarter of
Township 2 North, Range 14 West Section 16, the Neighborhood Commercial, and the
Single Family located on the south side of Highway 10 both east and west of the
Highway 300 intersection be amended to Suburban Office.
SECTION 5. That Park/Open Space strips paralleling Highway 10 northwest of
the Chenal Parkway intersection be amended to Commercial.
SECTION 6. That Park/Open Space strips paralleling Highway 10 and Chenal
Parkway, southwest of the Chenal Parkway and Highway 10 intersection and north of
Northfield Drive be amended to Commercial.
SECTION 7. That Public Institutional, and Park/Open Space strip located
southerly of Chenal Parkway and Northfield be amended to Single Family.
SECTION 8. That Park/Open Space strip and Single Family paralleling
Highway 10 northeast of the Chenal Parkway intersection and surrounded by
Commercial be amended to Commercial.
SECTION 9. That Park/Open Space strip paralleling Highway 10 and Chenal
Parkway southeast of the Chenal Parkway and Highway 10 intersection and north of
Northfield Drive be amended to Commercial.
SECTION 10. That Park/Open Space strip located southeast of Chenal Parkway
and Northfield Drive be amended to Suburban Office.
SECTION 11. That Single Family located in the 19000 block on the south side
of Highway 10 be amended to Public Institutional.
SECTION 12. That Single Family located in the 19000 block on the north side
of Highway 10 be amended to Public Institutional.
SECTION 13. That Mixed Office Commercial south of Ranch Drive at
Highway 10 be amended to Commercial.
SECTION 14. That Single Family located northwest of Ranch Drive and Ranch
Boulevard in the 8300 block of Ranch Boulevard be amended to Public Institutional.
SECTION 15. That Mixed Office Commercial on the northwest corner of
Highway 10 and Ranch Drive be amended to Office.
SECTION 16. That Transition located on both sides of Katillus Road south of
Cantrell Road between the existing Park/Open Space west of Katillus Road and including
a portion of the Montagne Subdivision in the 5000 block of Katillus Road be amended to
Single Family.
SECTION 17. That a portion of the Transition located at the northeast corner of
Katillus Road and Highway 10 intersection is amended to Suburban office.
SECTION 18. That the southern portion of the Transition located on the north
side of Highway 10 west of Pinnacle Valley Road in the 14500 block of Highway 10 be
amended to Mixed Office Commercial.

SECTION 19. That the ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and
after its passage and approval.
