HomeMy WebLinkAboutsecond note to the Applicant for Board of DirectorsOn December 1, 1998, I received the letter back in the mail today that I had attempted to send to Richard Norwood on the 20`x' of November. I noticed that it had been stamped "Return to Sender" and that part of the zip code had been marked out. The green return card was on the back and no notations were made on the front, I called the post office and tried to find out what had gone wrong. I called the 72211 post office and was referred to the 72212 post office on Pleasant Forest. She stated that the zip code for that area had changed to 72223. 1 asked when it changed and if there was a grace period for those who did not know it had changed. She stated that we were still in a grace period but apparently there was a substitute mail carrier that had marked out the 12 in the zip code and had sent it back to us. I think that it floated to different post offices before coming back to me. The lady at the 12 post office stated that the carrier's name for that route was Carol and that if I took it to the Chenal 72223 post office, that they would attempt to deliver it.
