Re: Applications to rezone and amend the land use plan for three tracts in the Gillam Park
area.
Dear Mr. Carney:
McGeorge Contracting Co., Inc. is requesting the rezoning of three tracts of land and amending
the land use plan for these tracts as part of an exchange of property agreement with the City of
Little Rock. The City is currently the owner of the land but has provided a letter granting us
permission to seek its rezoning. This rezoning effort is one of the final steps in the exchange
which the City Board of Directors authorized through Resolution No. 13,330, dated June 7,
2011.
Please find enclosed two applications, one for rezoning and one for a land use plan amendment,
concerning three tracts of land located in the Gillam Park area. A more detailed description of
these tracts is attached for your reference. Also enclosed is a check for the application fees
associated with this request and the letter from the City of Little Rock granting us permission to
seek it.
It is our intention to go through all of the necessary steps to complete this process. Should you
need anything further at this time or have any enquiries at all please don't hesitate to let me know
