Dear Sir,
I am writing to let you know that I am opposed to rezoning East 38th St.
from single family residential to surbutban office. Our properties in
this area are not valued at their actual worth even though our homes are
well kept. I am afraid rezoning would further the .devaluation. I also
feel that allowing one person to come in with a business will open the
door for others to do the same.
I have lived at 1712 East 38th Street 37 years and have no intention of
moving. I would like to keep our area residential.I hope you will consider
the implications of rental offices in this particular setting.
I have absolutely nothing against Mrs.Thompson and her proposal.I just
dont want it done in my neighborhood.
