Walter,
In review of the site with others at the airport, it is felt that we
would not object to the change to from residential to commercial.
However, we desire to monitor any proposal in the area for height. The
submittal of the Notice of Proposed Construction or Alteration (form
7460) to the Federal Aviation Administration to receive an airspace
determination should be required.
Thank you for the opportunity to review the proposal.
Judy

We need any comments in the next 24 hours on the case I left with you.
The request is for C3 General Commercial. This allows most any indoor
retail use. The City does have a height limit on this property due to
the runway of around 350 to 400 FT above sea level.
Monte Moore of our staff thinks the applicant has already talked with
the airport and someone there said it was okay as long as no structure
was more the 3 or 4 stories. The ground elevation is around 250 to 260
ft above sea level.
