However, we desire to monitor any proposal in the area for height. The submittal of the Notice of Proposed Construction or Alteration (form 7460) to the Federal Aviation Administration to receive an airspace determination should be required. The request is for C3 General Commercial. This allows most any indoor retail use. The City does have a height limit on this property due to the runway of around 350 to 400 FT above sea level. Monte Moore of our staff thinks the applicant has already talked with the airport and someone there said it was okay as long as no structure was more the 3 or 4 stories.
