As was noted in letters we sent to your organization in July and December 2018, the
Department of Planning and Development is reviewing the City's future Land Use Plan
in the area north of I-630, between 1-430 and the State Capitol Complex. Enclosed is a
map of some proposed changes in your area. These changes are a result of discussions
and review by City Staff, to hopefully reflect a more likely future development pattern in
the area based on activity and changes noted in the recent past.
A public hearing before the Little Rock Planning Commission at 4 P.M. Thursday May 9,
2019 has been scheduled to review the package of changes. This meeting will be in the
Little Rock Board Chambers, second floor of City Hall, 500 West Markham. You are
invited to attend this meeting or send any comments you may have on the proposed
changes to wmalone@littlerock.gov by Friday April 26, 2019.
